Original comic artwork by artist Wayne Vansant from the “The Cherkassy Pocket,” a true account of a World War II battle between Russian and German forces. Vanzant was Marvel’s primary artist on The ‘Nam from 1987-1993. Painted in duo tone shading on 8” x 13” board as well as pencils/inks on a separate 11” x 17” board. Both items signed by artist Wayne Vansant.
